The founders of AFS realized that the "good old days" of working for a large corporation and depending on a hefty pension for retirement were quickly disappearing. They recognized the need for individuals to claim responsibility for securing their financial well being--and the need for an association to help them succeed. Don Coffelt is president of Coffelt Associates, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in organizational development and executive recruiting. He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and administration and has served on several other boards.

Art Granda
Vice President
Art Granda is currently President and CEO of General Housing, Inc. of Waycross, GA. He previously served as President of Messer Industries, Inc. of Greenville, SC since 1996. Art has more than 30 years of senior financial and general management experience in manufacturing including CFO for Sun Engine, Inc., Vice President and General Manager for Wynn’s Climate Systems, Inc., President of Sauder Energy Systems, Inc. and Vice President and CFO for American Desk Manufacturing, Inc. Art has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University.

Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mario Pasquale’s distinguished career includes various high-ranking positions with several business and health organizations. He has also received national, state and university awards for exceptional contributions and dedicated service, which he received as Vice Chancellor of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
