Last week, the IRS announced a campaign to educate new self-employed and small-business owners about their federal tax responsibilities and about filing a Schedule C, Profit or Loss from Business.
The IRS is holding a national phone forum on May 21st, “Calling All First Time Schedule C Filers," and it will focus on helping new small businesses avoid common pitfalls when filing a Schedule C. Register online at the AT&T Teleconference Services Web site, and make sure to use the correct conference access code.
