Amanda looks forward to pursuing her goal of attending Auburn University. She expressed her appreciation to the association by writing, “Your kindness shows that there are people in this world who still value a great education. I greatly commend you on this program and hope that I not only prove myself, but exceed all expectations and represent your kindness to my fullest potential.” AFS launched its scholarship program in 1997 in order to encourage members’ dependents to aspire to greatness, focus on goals and succeed in life. Since its inception, the program has provided over $74,000 in financial aid to scholars. The program is open to AFS Members’ legal dependents, ages 16-24. |
